Bleach – Why you should watch it

Bleach is among the best anime series ever and must be seen. The “big three”—One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach—comprised these three series. Back then, it was very popular, and it continues to have a sizable fan base today. I was blown away when I saw it for the first time as a child because it wasn’t like any other anime I had ever seen. This show was what truly got me interested in the world of anime.

Here are the top 5 reasons why you should watch Bleach.

  1. Soundtrack

Anime fans know how essential soundtracks are to an anime show, and Bleach does not disappoint. Bleach has the best OST I have ever heard in an anime. The anime’s chief composer, Shiro Sagisu, was able to create timeless soundtracks that complemented the show’s theme and plot, adding to its enjoyment. One of the best, most complete songs you can add to your playlist is the Bleach OST.

2. Fight Scenes

Bleach has some of the best fight scenes out there. If you are a fan of samurai culture or swordplay, then this anime is for you. The primary weapon is a sword known as a “Zanpakuto,” specifically designed for that character to use and has its own set of unique characteristics. With the animation helping to improve it, Bleach is full of thrilling classic combat that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

3. Filler Episodes

Filler episodes in anime can seem like a waste of time to many anime viewers; some episodes can be hit or miss, but mostly misses. But Bleach filler arcs are excellent and are worth the time. I occasionally forgot that I was watching a filler episode because the stories are so captivating. The stories are action packed and filled with many characters that are just as exciting as the original cast.

4. Characters

With their diversity, the characters in Bleach also add colour to the show. Ichigo, the main character, is a lot different than classic Shonen anime characters and brings his uniqueness to the show, which makes him stand out above the rest. The side characters also bring some originality to the show; you can see them develop as it continues. Some of the best anime villains in Bleach include Aizen, Yhwach, and others. As the series progresses, you’ll grow to hate them but in a good way.

5. New season – Thousand-year blood war arc

After a certain arc, Bleach underwent a break that lasted a considerable amount of time. The Manga continued, but the Anime never returned for whatever reason. This divided fans as they were annoyed about why the Anime stopped and brought a negative image to the show. But recently, a new season has come out and has re-energies the show to where it once was. The new season, which follows the Manga’s concluding arc, features stunning animation and a compelling story with surprising turns. The season is not over, so this is the perfect time to catch up and enjoy watching it with the rest of us so you are not missing out.

Bleach is among my favourite anime ever, I believe that recommending it to others is the highest tribute I can pay to it. Check this anime out you will not regret it.
